Foundation: Gates Foundation, Walton Family Foundation
The Walton Family Foundaiton has invested $157 million in grants for K-12 education.
The foundation is second to the Gates Foundation in terms of spendings on schools. However, they are the largest donor toward inititatives that suport parental choice and encouraging competition in the education system having spent over $1 billion.
